Hey everyone, I've been following the updates on Kenneth Ray Paynes' case in LaPlace, and it just breaks my heart to see another life lost so senselessly. I can’t stop thinking about how his family must be feeling right now. One aspect that's been really puzzling me is the lack of a clear motive. Given that there were no other injuries, it makes you wonder if this was targeted or just a tragic random act. Do any locals have insight into whether there have been any other similar incidents in the area recently? It just seems so strange and unsettling.
