Has anyone heard more about the security situation at 1011 W. 18th Street? It's so sad to think that Craig Declouiet lost his life due to violence that might have been preventable. From what I've gathered, questions are being raised about whether the apartment complex could have done more in terms of security measures. It's tragic for his family. I'm hoping there will be a thorough examination into any past incidents at the complex and whether there was a pattern of neglect. Isn’t it worth looking into whether cameras or better lighting could have made a difference? Hoping for justice and that Craig's family finds the strength to cope with this devastating loss.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Lake Charles case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the security issues at the apartment complex where Craig Declouiet was tragically shot. It's alarming to me that something so awful happened and it makes you wonder if the management had any prior warnings or incidents that just weren't addressed properly. I genuinely feel for Craig’s family and loved ones who are left grappling with this senseless loss. It must be incredibly difficult to go through something like this and not have clear answers or reassurance about safety in the community. I hope that through this investigation, there can be some accountability regarding security protocols there. Does anyone know if the complex has had similar issues in the past, or if other residents have voiced concerns before this tragedy occurred? It would be telling if there’s a pattern here that’s been overlooked. Sending my condolences to Craig's family. These things shouldn't happen, and I hope they find peace in knowing the community is supporting them. Stay safe, everyone.
