I just can't stop thinking about how close this tragedy happened to some of the neighborhood parks where families visit regularly. Patrick White's senseless death in Baton Rouge has really shaken the community. I didn’t know him personally, but from what I've read, it sounds like he was a well-loved figure among his friends and family. It’s terrifying to think about how these incidents can happen in areas where we feel safe. My thoughts are with his loved ones as they try to make sense of this horrible event. If anyone has the courage to step forward with info, even if it's small, I hope they do. People should be able to feel secure in their neighborhoods without fear of violence.
