Hey everyone, I've been following Eric Gary's case, and I just can't stop thinking about how senselessly this tragedy unfolded. One thing that struck me was the community response in the aftermath. Eric's friends and family have shared some incredibly touching memories on his page at the National Gun Violence Memorial. It's clear he was a loved and respected individual in his community. I've read that there's been an outpouring of support for his family, which is really comforting amid all this darkness. It seems that sometimes, in tragedy, communities come together in the most beautiful ways to support each other. I sincerely hope that they find strength in these connections and that justice will be served for Eric. Gun violence is such a difficult topic, and cases like this highlight the urgent need for change. My heart goes out to everyone who's been affected. If anyone knows of any campaigns or memorial events in New Orleans that are being organized in Eric's memory, I'd love to know more. Stay safe, everyone.
