Has anyone else been following the situation at The Hub apartments? It's incredibly concerning to hear about the volume of police calls over the past year. With over 500 incidents, it seems like this area has been struggling with safety for a while now. I just wanted to express how deeply saddened I am by the loss of Kenneth Burrell Jr. Such a young life taken under such tragic circumstances. My heart goes out to his family, especially his sister Kemoni, who must be going through an unimaginably tough time. It's hopeful to see community efforts stepping up to support the family, but it makes you wonder: what more can be done to ensure the safety of young people in these environments? Maybe this tragedy will serve as a catalyst for meaningful change in the area. I'd love to hear what others think could be done to improve safety at The Hub and prevent another heart-wrenching event like this.
