I’m still trying to wrap my head around the loss of Tammy Thorpe. It’s just utterly tragic. I came across the details surrounding the investigation, and one thing that stood out to me was the delay in interviewing her husband, Berry Johnson, at the scene. It seems strange to me that he wasn't questioned immediately given the suspicious circumstances. Does anyone else find this concerning? Especially considering how quickly they realized it wasn’t a suicide. I feel so deeply for Tammy’s family, especially her daughter and grandchildren. The entire situation just seems so unnecessary and cruel. My heart goes out to them as they try to navigate this nightmare and hopefully find some semblance of justice and peace. Has anyone heard any updates on the investigation or why things played out the way they did initially?
Has anyone else read about the strange decision not to interview Berry Johnson at the scene? It’s baffling to me, especially given the circumstances surrounding Tammy Thorpe's death. I understand the complexity of emotions at such scenes, but wouldn’t an immediate interview be crucial in getting to the truth more quickly? Whatever protocol they're following feels like it fell short here. My heart goes out to Tammy’s family during this unimaginably painful time; they deserve answers and justice. If anyone knows more about the investigative process in this case, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Every bit of information helps to process how something like this could have happened.
