Has anyone else been thinking about the impact Marquis’ death has had on the kids in his neighborhood? I came across a post mentioning how he’d always make sure kids got shoes for school and Christmas. It just breaks my heart thinking about those little ones who won’t see him around anymore. As much as his tragic death affects his family and friends, it’s also a massive loss for all the kids who looked up to him. I really hope the community finds a way to honor his memory and keep his legacy of kindness alive. Maybe a local initiative or drive to continue his work could make all the difference. It's just unimaginable to consider how such a kind-hearted soul could be taken so abruptly. Could this be a spark for more community action against gun violence? We owe it to him to at least try.
