I'm really feeling for the people in Lexington right now, especially those who were close to Kevin Reel. It's been on my mind how this tragedy has left such a mark on the local community. There's been a lot of talk about the suspect, Scott Lawless, having a pretty troubled past, but my thoughts keep going back to Kevin and the kind of person he was. I read that Kevin was someone who loved to have deep conversations, especially about topics like philosophy and politics. It's just so sad to think that someone who brought so much thoughtful discussion into others' lives was taken in such a violent way. I can only imagine how hard this must be for Nick Godbehere and others who knew Kevin personally; it must feel like losing a light in their lives. Really hoping that anyone who might have more information comes forward to help the police piece together what happened. It’d be great if something good, like justice for Kevin and his loved ones, could come out of all this sadness. My heart goes out to everyone affected.
