I came across Daniel West's story and felt compelled to share some thoughts. It's incredibly sad how a life so full of promise was cut short. I noticed that he was born in 1991, which makes him just a year younger than me. It's haunting to think about how quickly everything can change. One thing that's been bothering me about the case is the lack of information regarding suspects or any progress in the investigation. It's been a few months since his death, and yet, there hasn't been any news of arrests. With so much gun violence happening, I can only imagine how this affects families who are waiting for justice. Those left behind by this senseless act deserve answers and closure. I'm really impressed by the community's efforts to honor Daniel’s memory on platforms like the National Gun Violence Memorial. It’s touching to see how people come together, lighting candles and sharing stories. Let's hope his family and friends find some solace in these tributes, and that they get the answers and justice they deserve someday.
