Hey everyone, I've been following the Devontae Beach case, and something that keeps gnawing at me is the issue of concert security. With such heightened measures supposedly in place for the Summer Jam event, how could something like this still happen so close to the venue? It's tragic to think that anyone attending or leaving an event might still be at risk despite all the precautions. I've read that the LMPD had increased security due to past concerns, but it just begs the question—was it enough? My heart goes out to Devontae's family and friends who are surely devastated by this loss. Music should be a place for celebration and community, not fear. Has anyone else here attended concerts at the KFC YUM Center before? Did you notice anything particular about the security arrangements? Just trying to piece together how an event that's supposed to be a night to remember turned into such a nightmare. Stay safe, everyone. Hoping for justice for Devontae. - Sandra
