Hey everyone,
I've been following Carl Horning's tragic case for a while now, and something about the community's response really stood out to me. Carl was such a respected figure in North Plains, not just because of his dedicated service as a firefighter and lieutenant with TVF&R, but also due to his active involvement in community activities.
I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of loss during the memorial service at Liberty High School. So many people attended, from local residents to firefighters and public officials, showing just how significant his role was in their lives. It paints a picture of a man who was not only dedicated to his professional duty but also committed to being a supportive friend, neighbor, and family man.
It's deeply moving to see a community come together in such a supportive way, and while it won't bring Carl back, it's a reminder of the impact he made. I hope that his family and friends find some comfort in the continued support and love from the community as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. It's crucial we don't forget the positive legacy he's left behind while seeking justice for Carl.
Sending love and strength to everyone out there who is grieving this immeasurable loss.

Has anyone else been following the Horning case from North Plains? It's been really weighing on my mind, especially with how deeply embedded Carl was in the community. As a firefighter and lieutenant with TVF&R, he saved countless lives and was such a pillar of strength for his family and the area. I can’t help but think of the impact this has had on his colleagues and friends, especially seeing that so many came to honor him at his memorial back in January at Liberty High School.
Considering he was such a dedicated public servant, it's hard to understand how this tragic event could unfold within his own family. The conservatorship dispute over their mother seems to have played a significant role, but it's heartbreaking that it potentially led to something so irreversible.
Does anyone know how Carl’s family is holding up after the indictment of his brother? No family should have to endure this kind of pain. Sending all my thoughts to Carl’s wife, Kelli, his children, and his granddaughter during this difficult time.
