Has anyone else been reading about the Portland shooting that happened on July 5th? It's so upsetting to think about what Jose's family must be going through. From what's been shared, it seems like he was well-known in both Portland and Gresham communities. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must be feeling.
I'm curious if anyone's heard more about the area where this happened, specifically near NW 3rd Ave and NW Everett St. Is this known to be a dangerous area, or did this come as a complete shock to locals? We need to raise awareness and help out with any information if we can. My heart really goes out to everyone involved, especially those trying to piece together what happened that night. Please, guys, if you know anything, reach out to Det. Law or Det. Foote. This family deserves answers!

I just read about the tragic shooting in Portland that took the life of Jose L. Galindo-Maldonado, and my heart really goes out to his family and friends. It's so incredibly frustrating to hear that there haven’t been any breakthroughs in the case yet. I know the police urged anyone who might have information to come forward, but I keep wondering if we could do more as a community to help Jeremy and the detectives out?
I've lived near the area for a couple of years, and unfortunately, I’ve noticed an increase in similar incidents around Old Town. It makes you think twice about safety and community awareness. Has anyone heard of any surveillance cameras around Northwest 3rd and Everett? Possible video footage could be crucial here. Also, someone might have seen something or someone suspicious and not connected the dots yet.
