Hey everyone, I just can't stop thinking about how quick and unexpected everything must have been for Sakdara Khoeun and his friends at that party. Imagine having a typical night out, just hanging around with people your own age, and then everything changes in an instant. I can only imagine the shock and fear that his friends must have felt. It’s a small consolation, but at least it seems like they did everything they could by getting him to the hospital as quickly as possible.
I also wonder about the atmosphere at the party and what led up to the shooting. Was there any tension building up earlier in the night, or did things just escalate out of nowhere? It's wild how one moment can just flip everything upside down. How devastating for his family, especially right before the holidays. I sincerely hope they get the support they need right now.
It's also a bit surreal thinking about how fast the authorities were able to track Defrietas down, all the way across the country. It’s good to see such cooperation between state and local police, but it just goes to show how serious this is. I just hope the investigation gives Sakdara’s family the answers and justice they deserve.

While we’re all gathering with our families and giving thanks, Sakdara’s family is dealing with such a profound loss. This time of year will never be the same for them, and that breaks my heart. It’s just another reminder of how precious life is and how quickly things can change. I can't even imagine what his friends are going through, especially those who rushed him to the hospital in what must have been a frantic, desperate attempt to save him. I hope they're getting the support they need, too. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless act.
