I recently learned about the arrest of Trevor Bady, and the details are just so chilling. It's devastating to think that Alianah might have been saved if someone could have intervened sooner. What really stands out to me is the 911 call that reported the commotion and the heartbreaking screams heard by a witness. Hearing something like that and knowing it could be the last moments of someone's life is haunting. I also can't stop thinking about how there were signs of abuse and threats that Alianah reportedly shared with others. It makes me wonder, could there have been any legal measures taken to protect her from Bady before this happened? Orders of protection or even just increased vigilance from authorities or people close to her? It’s such an awful reminder of how important it is to take every threat seriously, especially when someone’s life is at stake. Sending all my love and support to Alianah’s family and friends. No one should have to go through this kind of suffering. It's inspiring to hear how her community is rallying to support each other in their time of grief. If there's anything her story can teach us, it's that we must do everything possible to listen and act when someone reaches out for help.
