I can't stop thinking about the animals Joey left behind. By all accounts, he was an incredible pet owner who truly loved his animals. As someone who believes animals are part of the family, my heart goes out to his loved ones who are now facing the additional burden of ensuring his pets are taken care of. I know it may not seem like the most pressing issue given the tragedy of his passing, but I believe how we treat those he cared for says a lot about honoring his memory. I hope his family can find comfort in the presence of his pets during this tough time. If anyone has updates on how his animals are doing or if the community is organizing any efforts to support them, I'd love to help out. Joey sounded like the type of person who would have done the same for others. Let's keep his compassionate spirit alive by making sure his furry friends are safe and loved.
