I just can't wrap my head around the tragic loss of JB and Jasmine. It's so incredibly hard to believe that such a well-respected and beloved person like Justin Boyd could be taken away in such a senseless manner, especially by someone from his own family. I've read so many accounts of how JB was not just a firefighter, but a pillar in every community he was part of—whether at IFD, in his barbershop, or on the football field coaching young athletes. His dedication to everyone around him is evident. What stands out to me is JB's role in the IFD Deputy Fire Marshal Team during Colts games. It's those seemingly small details that really make you appreciate how much he was integrated into the fabric of the community. It's so hard to fathom that someone who ensured safety for others at these massive events would end up the victim of such violence. My heart aches for his wife, Samiya, and their kids. The sudden hole in their lives must be unimaginable. I'm truly hoping for some justice and peace for all who loved him and Jasmine.
