Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the area where Christian was found—5800 Cypress Avenue in Gary. It’s just unsettling to know that such a tragic event happened in what I think is a residential area. It makes me wonder about the neighborhood dynamic and whether there were any witnesses who might have seen or heard something that evening. I can’t imagine what Christian’s family is going through right now. The thought of losing a loved one so suddenly and violently must be beyond devastating. With no suspects in sight, I hope people in the community come forward with anything they might know, no matter how insignificant it seems. Sometimes the smallest detail can be the missing piece detectives need to solve the puzzle. If you’re from Gary and have any information, please, for the sake of Christian and his family, reach out to Detective Jason Szemes. Stay safe, everyone. Hug your loved ones and keep this young man in your thoughts.

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Christian Messiah Lewis and something that has been sticking with me is the choice of location where the incident happened. Cypress Avenue seems pretty quiet, not exactly the spot you’d expect for something like this to go down. I'm curious if anyone here knows the area well? Is it a common place for people to hang out, or was this likely just a coincidence? Also, there was something about the gold Jeep SUV crashing into a tree that made me wonder... Was there possibly a chase involved, or was Christian trying to get away from something or someone? It’s all so puzzling and my heart goes out to his loved ones. This community deserves some answers, and I hope someone comes forward with information soon. Stay safe, everyone, and hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight.
