Just read some devastating news about Romulo Reyes from Elkhart. I can’t imagine the pain his fiancée and family must be going through right now—losing someone so suddenly is a nightmare. I was particularly struck by how the community has been rallying to remember him for his kindness and generosity. Has anyone heard anything more about how the other man who was shot is doing? I hope he’s pulling through. It’s so terrifying to think that this happened near a school. Keeping Romulo’s loved ones and the whole community in my thoughts during this incredibly tough time.

Has anyone else been thinking about the nature of the relationship between Romulo and Joshua Martinez? It's puzzling that someone would resort to such extreme violence unless there was some significant tension or history between them. Romulo seemed like such a positive force, deeply connected to the community through his incredible work at Madrid & Tokio Fusion Bar. It's hard to imagine anyone holding that kind of animosity towards him, especially someone from the nearby area like Joshua, who lived in Plymouth. I wonder if there were any business dealings or personal disputes that we aren't aware of yet. My heart goes out to Romulo's family and friends.
