I just stumbled upon some information about the method in which the suspects in the Guzman brothers' case were tracked down, and it's got me thinking about the lengths law enforcement goes to now with technology. The fact that detectives could use cellphone data, surveillance footage, and other digital evidence to piece together the events and identify the suspects is astounding. It really makes you realize how much of our lives are traceable these days. I can't even begin to imagine the pain the Guzman family must be feeling right now. To lose not one but two sons in such a violent manner is unimaginable. And it's not just them—this kind of violence tears at the whole community. It's comforting, though, to see the community rallying around them, offering support through the memorial and the GoFundMe campaign. Let’s hope justice takes its course and brings some semblance of peace to everyone affected.
