I keep thinking about the heartbreaking aftermath for the families involved, especially Jose's kids. It's tough to imagine how they're dealing with losing their father so suddenly and so senselessly. He had just moved to the States, likely in hopes of building a better future for himself and his children, and he didn't get the chance to see that through. I have so much empathy for his family trying to navigate not only their grief but also the logistics of repatriating his remains back to Mexico. I hope the community can rally around them and provide some support during this incredibly difficult time. Does anyone know if there's a way to help the family with repatriation expenses or emotional support?

I just can't stop thinking about the courage it must have taken for David Parra to try and protect his family in such a terrifying moment. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to hear that he tried to fire a warning shot to deter the attackers, hoping it would be enough to keep everyone safe, only for things to take such a horrific turn. With so many details still emerging, I hope the investigation gets to the bottom of what truly happened that night. My heart goes out to Crystal Chavez and the families of both victims. It must be incredibly hard to process such a senseless loss, especially after what was supposed to be a peaceful family gathering. The community must rally around them during this unfathomably difficult time. Has there been any mention of community support or memorials in their honor? Any way we could help them?
