Has anyone else been thinking about the impact that Darnell's case could have on the Englewood community? It's just such a horrible situation. I feel like this case really highlights the urgency of addressing gun violence. Darnell was so young, with so much potential, and I can't imagine the pain his friends and family are enduring right now. It truly feels like the entire community is in grief. Sometimes I wonder if the media attention and the work of advocacy groups might spark some change or at least help shed light on what's happening on the ground. Thinking of Darnell and all who've lost loved ones this way. Hoping justice is served soon.
