I can't get my mind off what happened at Greg's Towing & Recovery. Gregory Hostetler's tragic death is another reminder of just how quickly things can spiral out of control. The bit that really got to me was reading about his passion for collecting antique oil cans and toys. It's such a unique hobby and just shows how much personality he had. It's heartbreaking to think about the void his passing leaves behind, not just for his family and fiancée, Tonya, but also for his colleagues and everyone who knew him. I truly hope they find some comfort in their memories with him and in each other as they navigate this immense loss. It's unfair that someone like Greg, who clearly had a rich and full life outside of his work, was taken in such a senseless act of violence.

I've been following the Gregory W. Hostetler case, and something that's been on my mind a lot is the courage shown by young Kolby Sunderland. Imagine being just 18 years old, witnessing such a traumatic event, and then mustering up the bravery to try and disarm an armed individual. It's incredible to think about what he went through and how his quick actions possibly prevented further tragedy. His injury, while serious, seems to symbolize the risks he's willing to take for others' safety. I'm just deeply saddened thinking about what Kolby and the Hostetler family are going through right now. It's tough enough losing someone you care about, but doing so in such a violent manner must be unimaginable. I hope Kolby has a strong support system around him as he recovers physically and emotionally. And for the Hostetler family, I sincerely wish for peace and comfort in this difficult time. This case really highlights how quickly an ordinary day can turn catastrophic and reminds us to appreciate the moments we have with our loved ones.

Greg's Towing & Recovery has always been a fixture in Hervey City, and it's so unsettling to see it become the scene of such a tragic event. I can't stop thinking about Kolby Sunderland, the young employee who stepped up in the middle of this nightmare. It's incredible how he managed to disarm Perry even after being shot himself. Not only did he act with bravery, but he possibly prevented further harm. It speaks volumes of his character, especially at just 18. Sending healing thoughts to Kolby and hoping for his speedy recovery. This is such a heavy reminder of how quickly things can turn violent in high-stress jobs like these. Stay safe out there, everyone.
