Daniel Leon Scott, a 21-year-old from Murray, Utah, was last seen on January 1, 1997, under suspicious circumstances. He was at home with his 14-year-old sister when a female friend came to their apartment. Scott told his sister that he would be back in 20 minutes but never returned. He left the apartment wearing only shorts, despite the winter weather, and was last seen walking with the unknown woman. This woman was described as being in her early twenties, with dark blond hair and blue eyes.
