It's so unsettling to read about another tragic loss in the Rogers Park community. Antoine's murder, just steps from such a public venue like the CTA Howard station, really speaks to the brazenness of the assailant. What’s terrifying is that this wasn't a random act; it's the second murder in the area in less than two weeks. I can't help but think about the people who travel through that station every day, especially late at night or early in the morning. The anxiety and fear this brings to everyday commuters must be overwhelming. The city really needs to step up its game in ensuring safety around these transit hubs. My thoughts go out to Antoine’s family and his friends, who are likely searching for answers in this senseless act. Hopefully, with surveillance footage as a lead, law enforcement can piece together what happened and who is responsible.
Anyone else feel really uneasy about the lack of progress on Antoine Williams' case?
