I came across the story of Trumaine Hatchett, and it's just so sad. I can't help but think about his family and friends right now, having to deal with such a devastating loss. It’s troubling that an 18-year-old lost his life like this, especially in his own home where he should've felt safe. What are we doing to protect our youth? It seems like the violence never ends in Chicago, especially in neighborhoods like Gresham. I hope the community can rally together and support the authorities in finding out who did this. Everyone deserves to feel safe and secure in their own home. Does anyone know if there’s been any community meetings or vigils held yet? Sometimes coming together can help bring more attention to these cases.
