Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Kenneth Loudermilk case, and something that’s been intriguing to me is the weather conditions on the day he went missing. Was there a freak gust of wind or unexpected weather shift that could’ve contributed to his accident while paragliding? I’ve been reading that sometimes these sudden changes can catch even experienced paragliders off-guard, especially near large bodies of water like the Missouri River. If anyone’s local to the Washington, MO area or has experience with paragliding there, I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether weather might have played a role or if there are other hazards in that spot people might not immediately consider. ?️?

I’ve been following Kenneth Lee Loudermilk’s case and can’t help but wonder about the weather conditions on the day he went missing. Does anyone know if the wind patterns or any abrupt changes in the weather could have played a role in the crash? It seems like paragliding can be super unpredictable if conditions aren’t optimal. Maybe there’s something there that could explain how he ended up in the river so suddenly. I've been trying to piece together any info on the weather reports from that day, but details are scarce. Any fellow hobbyist paragliders here that can weigh in on how such conditions could affect a paraglider's control?

Does anyone have any insights into the currents of the Missouri River around the Route 47 bridge? I’ve been following Kenneth Lee Loudermilk’s case, and I'm curious how the river might affect search efforts. It seems like this area could play a crucial role in why nothing has surfaced yet. If the currents are swift or changeable, could they have carried him further downstream than initially thought? Would love to hear thoughts from anyone familiar with river dynamics or who has experience with similar cases. Maybe the answer lies in understanding the river's behavior better.
