I just keep thinking about Eric's funeral service at First Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Seeing the community come together to celebrate his life left such a lasting impression on me. It's clear that Eric was cherished by so many, and the strength and support shared among his family and friends were palpable. Hearing the stories of his life full of warmth and laughter amidst such a somber event really underscored what a genuine and loving person he was. I can't help but hope that this tragic event will spur meaningful changes in our community and beyond to tackle the pervasive issue of gun violence.
