I haven't seen much discussion about the events leading up to the tragic death of Demetrius Heard. It's so devastating to think about his family, especially his mother, Bennie Mae, enduring the loss. I wonder what factors played a part in that escalation on Dirk Way. Was there any previous connection between Demetrius and Gregory Johnson? From what I've gathered, Johnson was already in a world of trouble, but I’m curious if they crossed paths before. It's chilling to think about how violence can quickly reshape so many lives. My heart goes out to Demetrius's family and friends. It's important for us to keep asking questions and pushing for answers to prevent more senseless tragedies like this in Columbus.
