Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the mechanics of the infamous Alcatraz escape, and what’s really caught my attention is the dummy heads they made to fool the guards. I mean, these guys weren’t just out there trying their luck; they put so much thought and detail into those heads using plaster, paint, and actual human hair! Can you imagine crafting something that sophisticated back then? Who provided them with those resources, or were they just that resourceful?
Every bit of evidence we have shows how methodical they were, almost like something out of a movie. But what I’m curious about is how no other inmates caught onto this elaborate ruse. Were Morris, the Anglins, and maybe a few others the only ones in on it? It would be interesting to hear if anyone else has theories on how they pulled this part of the escape off without arousing suspicion from both the guards and other prisoners.
