I can't stop thinking about Deandre Wheeler and how his life was senselessly cut short. It’s unsettling that this happened so close to an elementary school—a place that's supposed to be safe for kids and the community. How are kids and parents supposed to feel secure knowing such violence can occur nearby? I read that Deandre was found with multiple gunshot wounds, which is horrifying. It breaks my heart that no suspect or motive has been identified yet. I hope someone comes forward with information soon, not only for the sake of justice but also for some semblance of peace for Deandre’s family and friends. It must be excruciating for them to not have answers about why this happened. Wishing strength and comfort for everyone affected as they navigate this terrible time. If anyone here has any thoughts on how we, as a community, can help in making sure justice is served, I'd love to hear your ideas. We need to take a stand and prevent tragedies like this from becoming just another statistic.
