Has anyone heard any updates on the reward being offered by the MPD for info on Johansel Encarnacion's case? It's so sad to think about what his family must be going through right now. Offering a reward makes me feel like the police don't have a lot to go on, and they're really hoping for a good tip. I can't imagine what it's like for them to have to wait and hope someone steps forward with the right information. Also, if anyone in the D.C. area has heard or seen anything, even something small, please consider reaching out to the police. It could really make a difference.
Hey folks,
I've been following the updates on the tragic case of Johansel Misael Encarnacion Decena, who was shot and sadly passed away a couple of days later. I keep thinking about the location where it happened—the 3400 block of 14th Street NW. It's a part of D.C. many of us know well, bustling with people and usually so full of life. It’s hard to imagine something so devastating happening there in the middle of the night.
The fact that this happened at 2 AM makes me wonder about the circumstances. Was it random? Could it have been a misunderstanding or did Johansel know the person who did this? There are so many unanswered questions, and I can’t help but feel for his family and friends who are left waiting for justice.
I hope someone comes forward soon or the MPD finds some lead. If anyone in the area might've heard or seen something, even if it seems small, it could be so valuable to the investigators. It's just so unfair that another life is lost like this.
Stay safe out there, everyone. If you know something, please do report it. We owe it to Johansel and all who loved him.

Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Johansel Misael Encarnacion Decena, and I can't stop thinking about the impact it's had on his family and community. Reading about how these senseless acts leave families shattered is just so devastating.
Something that stands out to me is how this took place in what many consider a relatively busy area of DC. It raises questions about surveillance cameras or any potential eyewitnesses that might have been in the vicinity around that time. Does anyone know if there's been any update on whether nearby businesses or street cameras might have captured any footage that could aid the investigation?
I really hope some leads come through soon, both for justice for Johansel and peace for his loved ones. If anyone knows more about what's going on or how the community is handling this, please share. Keeping Johansel's family and friends in my thoughts during this incredibly challenging time.
