Has anyone else been following this case closely? It's just so devastating to hear about another senseless act of violence. I can't stop thinking about how Damien and Alphonso were simply out enjoying a night together, like so many of us do. It's horrifying to imagine how quickly things turned tragic.
I've been reading some reports about the area, and it seems like Forsyth and Julia might have surveillance cameras nearby. I hope those videos can provide some crucial evidence to help the investigators. Some say the neighborhood has had issues with violence before, but it still shocks me that something so terrible could happen right in the middle of downtown.
Does anyone in the Jacksonville area know if there have been any recent updates on leads or suspects? It's important that we keep Damien and Alphonso's memory alive and support their family as they seek justice for their loved ones.
