Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Buba Kolly? I'm so saddened for his family, especially his mom and sister. I can't even imagine the pain they're going through. I was specifically struck by the fact that Buba had such clear aspirations—graduating high school and aiming to become a merchant seaman. It makes it even more gut-wrenching knowing he won't have the chance to fulfill those dreams. It's also infuriating how frequently gun violence seems to be affecting our communities. This incident should serve as yet another wake-up call for Jacksonville and beyond to seriously address the scourge of gun violence. We can't keep losing young people like Buba. I really hope the community rallies together to bring information forward. If anyone here knows anything, please contact the authorities or Crime Stoppers. We need to help this family find justice and peace. Keep them in your thoughts, everyone.
