I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must be having on Bruce's family, especially during what should have been the festive holiday season. Imagine someone so full of life, heading to do something they loved, like going to a Jaguars game, and never making it there. It’s not just another stat—Bruce was a person who brought joy to those around him, particularly through things like his "Fresh Cut Fridays."
I can only hope that the community's plea for ending the violence can somehow bring about change. It says a lot that his cousin Ciara is already using this awful situation to advocate for peace through the K.I.N.G Foundation. My heart goes out to his family, and I truly hope they find justice for Bruce. It’s more than time for these senseless acts to stop. Let's all stand with them and support their call to "put the guns down."
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share a thought about Bruce Wilson’s case. I can’t help but think about how Bruce was on his way to a Jags game, something he obviously loved, being a regular at those games. It makes me wonder if this was a random act or if someone targeted that particular area knowing there’d be potential victims heading to the game. It just strikes me as so senseless, especially since he seemed to be such a lively and positive person, always uplifting those around him. I feel deeply for his family, especially his young nieces and nephews who are surely left with a giant void in their lives. Nobody should have to grow up with that kind of loss.
It’s chilling to think about how life can change in an instant. I really hope the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office finds some leads soon. Innocent lives should never be caught in such horrible circumstances. Thoughts and prayers are with Bruce's family and all victims of such tragic violence. Let’s all hope for more kindness and less violence.
Stay safe, everyone.
