I was thinking about the details surrounding Claranett Cooley’s missing handgun. It vanished a couple of weeks before she disappeared, which seems more than just a coincidence to me. Did anyone else think that this might be a significant piece of the puzzle? Like, could the missing gun be connected to her disappearance, or maybe it ended up in the wrong hands? I find it strange that such a critical item went missing right before she did. It’s been so many years with no solid answers, but this seems like something worth discussing or revisiting. Anyone remember if there was more about this in the newspapers or during the initial investigation?
