In the early evening of August 24, 2005, a 23-year-old man named Marcus Tyrone Knight was seen in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for what would be the last time. He was at Greenville Park around 7:00 PM, reportedly walking in the direction of the Timberline Apartments, which are located off Northwest 10th Street and Greenvale Road. At the time he went missing, Marcus was described as a Black male, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He had short, wavy black hair, brown eyes, and a thin goatee. He was known to go by the nickname "Conflict." On the day he disappeared, he was wearing blue jeans, a navy blue t-shirt, and blue and white Nike socks. He was also wearing a silver linked bracelet. Marcus had several distinct tattoos that his family and law enforcement hoped would help in identifying him. These included a "Bull Dog" tattoo, a tattoo of the word "Liquinasey" on his neck, a depiction of a man holding a gun on one arm, a skull on another arm, and a "rolling 90" tattoo on another arm. His case was officially reported to the Oklahoma City Police Department on August 31, 2005. Despite the passage of years, his case remains an active missing person investigation, a painful and unresolved chapter for his loved ones. The circumstances surrounding Marcus Knight's disappearance remain unclear, and there has been no significant information released to the public about what might have happened to him after he was last seen. The lack of answers has left a void in the lives of his family and friends. The case, cataloged under NamUs case number MP79296, serves as a public appeal for any information that might shed light on his whereabouts. The investigation continues to be handled by the Oklahoma City Police Department, who hold the hope that someone, somewhere, has the information that could finally bring Marcus home.
