I found it really odd that Scott Paul Hayes was seen acting strangely after running out of gas. It makes me wonder if something happened to him before his disappearance that caused him to act out of character. Maybe he met someone on his way or perhaps there was foul play involved even before he made it to Redcrest. Does anyone know if his behavior had been unusual leading up to his trip, or could it be a sign of someone manipulating or threatening him? Also, has there been any follow-up on the people who gave him a ride or the motel staff in Rio Dell? Maybe they saw or heard something that wasn't initially clear. The whole situation is so baffling. What are everyone’s thoughts on this particular angle?
