Has anyone else been following the Freddy Benson case closely? I recently read about the wrongful death lawsuit filed by his family against the owners of Oakhurst Square Apartments. It's just so frustrating and sad to think about how this tragedy might have been avoided if there were better security measures in place. I wonder if others in the complex feel the same way. Freddy's family has every right to seek justice for their son. It must be incredibly difficult for them to navigate this painful situation while hoping that someone will come forward with more information. The fact that law enforcement still doesn't have any suspects is concerning. Keeping Freddy’s loved ones in my thoughts—hoping for answers and some peace for them soon. Anyone know if there have been any updates on this recently?

Does anyone else find it shocking that there are still no suspects in Freddy Benson’s case after all this time? It’s been years, and I keep thinking about his poor family, still waiting for answers. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for them, stuck in this limbo with no closure. I remember reading about the previous drive-by shooting at Oakhurst Square and wondering how on earth the complex management didn’t tighten security right after. If only they had taken some action, maybe we wouldn't be discussing another lost young life. It just makes me furious thinking about how Freddy’s death could possibly have been prevented. Has anyone heard anything about the ongoing lawsuit his family filed? I think it’s crucial for the property owners to be held accountable if they were negligent. Hoping the additional pressure might lead to some new developments in the case. If anyone has any updates or information, please share. This community has solved cases before, and hopefully, we can help in bringing some peace to Freddy's loved ones.

It's really unsettling to think about the safety issues at the Oakhurst Square Apartments. My heart goes out to Freddy Benson's family. It seems like this community was already under stress with incidents happening so close together, but the real question is why management didn’t take noticeable action after the first drive-by? It might not have stopped this tragedy from occurring, but implementing basic security measures could potentially deter future incidents or at least make residents feel a little safer. It's mind-boggling and frustrating when you hear about these incidents and feel like they could have been prevented. I hope the authorities find the info they need to identify those responsible and bring peace to his loved ones. If anyone reading has lived in or around the area, did you notice any attempts at increased security afterward, or has it been the same situation since this tragedy?
