I've been thinking a lot about the geography around Fort Vermilion and Beaver Ranch Reserve. It seems like such a vast and challenging terrain to search, especially with its dense woods and water bodies. Given Morden's physical condition, I'm wondering if there was a specific area where he might have sought shelter or traveled? Maybe there's a spot locals know of that's not well-covered by maps or search efforts. If anyone familiar with the reserve has insights or ideas, it could potentially provide a new angle for those still trying to piece together what happened. Also, did anyone remember if there were any events or activities that weekend that might have drawn his attention? Just trying to connect any dots, no matter how small.
