In the quiet of a spring evening on April 6, 2002, 63-year-old Morden Billy Ralph Utinowatum was visiting with his family on the Beaver Ranch Reserve in Alberta. At approximately 9:00 p.m., he wandered away from the residence and into the surrounding area near Fort Vermilion. No one has reported seeing or hearing from him since that night.
