It's hard to grasp the scope of this tragedy in Peyton, Colorado. I've been following the case closely, and something I've been wondering about is the timeline of events after the confrontation started. Tyler Vandelac mentioned hearing loud bangs, but I'm curious if there were any signs earlier in the evening that hinted at what would unfold. It seems like such a sudden plunge into chaos. I've read some accounts from neighbors who didn't notice anything unusual until the SWAT team arrived. It's devastating to think that such a horrific event could go unnoticed initially. My heart goes out to the families and friends of Debray Scott and the Vandelac family. I hope they can find some semblance of peace amid this unimaginable loss. Has anyone come across more details about the interactions between the individuals earlier that night? Anything that might provide insights into what triggered this tragic sequence of events would be helpful, as difficult as it is to piece together.

I’ve been following the case in Peyton and it’s been incredibly difficult to process, especially because it’s happening in such a tight-knit community. I grew up not far from Akawi Way and even though I didn’t personally know the Vandelac family or Debray Scott, I feel for everyone who did. It must be unbelievably hard to cope with something like this when everyone seems so connected.
I keep thinking about how Tyler must be feeling—the survivor's guilt and the trauma of witnessing what he did. I can't begin to imagine what that’s like. Just knowing that he lost his entire family in one night is devastating. I hope the community continues to rally around him and provides the support he needs in the coming days and months. And then there's Debray Scott. From what I’ve read, he was a good friend to the Vandelac brothers. I’m sure his friends and family are dealing with so many unanswered questions. It's just all so tragic. It’s a reminder of how fragile life can be and how quickly everything can change. If anyone in the area has more information or updates on how the community is coping, it would be great to hear from you. Let’s continue to support each other through this.
