Anyone else find the paycheck situation in Rodney Eugene Whittenburg's case a bit odd? If he picked up half of his paycheck, why wouldn’t he come back for the rest of it? I mean, that's his hard-earned money. Plus, it's been over three weeks before his mom even reported him missing, so something must have been off for a while. Could it have been something happening at work? Or maybe he had plans right after picking up the check that didn't pan out? Just seems strange that he disappeared right after something most people consider routine.

I can't stop thinking about the fact that Rodney never picked up the second half of his paycheck. It's one of those weird little details that sticks out to me. If you're planning to disappear or start a new life, wouldn't you need every dollar you could get your hands on? Or if something unexpected happened, why only pick up half? That makes me wonder if he left not knowing he wasn't coming back. It's details like these that keep me up at night, trying to figure out what's real and what's speculation. It's been so many years, but if anyone out there remembers anything, even something they think is small, it's worth mentioning. Sometimes the smallest detail can lead to a breakthrough.
