Has anyone looked into the identity of the 60-year-old British man Christine was planning to go "leaf peeping" with? I find it odd that there's little mention of him, considering he was the last person she reportedly was with. Did he come forward, or is there any information about his relationship with Christine? It strikes me as odd that someone that significant in the final days before her disappearance hasn't become a focal point in the investigation. Maybe there's more to his story that could shed light on what happened to Christine. Does anyone have more background on that part of the case?

Anyone else find the timing of Christine Spurgeon's last-known email a bit curious? I mean, she emails about going on a "leaf peeping" tour with this older British guy and then poof, that's the last anyone hears from her. It's like she planned her entire trip but conveniently goes silent just as she's about to embark on it. Could it be possible that someone else sent that email to throw people off her trail? It just seems odd that an experienced traveler like Christine would vanish without a word when she seemed to have a plan. Thoughts?
