I was digging through old newspaper archives online, and I found an article about Carole Dianne Roy's disappearance from the late '90s. It's interesting that there was barely any media attention on her case back then. It’s baffling that it took 16 years for an official missing person report to be filed. I can’t help but wonder if the lack of coverage and public awareness contributed to that delay. Given that Carole had such distinct features and a French accent, it seems she would have been easily recognizable. Does anyone know if the police ever found any ties between her case and anything happening around Carleton Place during that time? It just feels like there might be more pieces to this puzzle we aren’t seeing. Any insight would be appreciated!
