Just came across the tragic story of Marquette Muhammad, another young life lost too soon to gun violence. It's just so disheartening to see these stories keep popping up, and I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must be feeling right now. I was wondering if anyone had more information about what kind of community programs or initiatives exist in Little Rock or Arkansas in general to help combat gun violence and support families affected by it? It really feels like there needs to be more support and preventive measures to try and stop these from happening. It's just so frustrating to see this become such a regular occurrence. If anyone else is from the area, how do you feel local organizations are handling this crisis? Are there any effective steps being taken or anything that you feel could make a difference that isn't being done yet? Sending love and strength to everyone impacted by this senseless violence.
