I've been following the Pocahontas case involving the Dawsey family, and I can't stop thinking about the fact that no one managed to reach them on Sunday. It's haunting to imagine how things might have been different if someone had been able to intervene earlier. It’s really troubling to find out that there were known domestic issues prior to this tragedy. It makes me wonder how often we underestimate the severity of domestic situations until it's too late. My heart goes out to Hannah and young Asher's friends and family who are left to process such unimaginable loss. If anyone has insights on how communities can better support families facing domestic troubles, I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts.
