Hey everyone, I recently came across the case of James Junhee Goh, the young man who disappeared near Point Vicente Lighthouse back in 2008. I was particularly struck by the geography of the area. Has anyone else noticed how dangerous those rocks and waves can be? I've visited Rancho Palos Verdes a few times, and the ocean there really can shift from calm to chaotic without much warning. It's so tragic when you think about how easily such an adventurous day can turn into disaster, especially when there's a heroic act involved. I wonder if updates to local safety measures followed this incident? Clearly, more awareness about those unpredictable waves is crucial. Thoughts?
