I’ve been following the Gandhi case, and I’m completely overwhelmed by the complexity surrounding family court battles and how they can escalate. When I learned about the proposed “Om’s Law,” it really resonated with me. It’s just so important to focus on the safety of children in these heartbreaking custody disputes. It’s tragic beyond words that it took such a devastating event for these concerns to gain attention. I can't imagine the sheer courage and strength it must take for Leah Moses to channel her grief into advocating for change. It must be so hard to relive every painful detail while pushing for something positive to come out of this tragedy. I sincerely hope that her efforts lead to improved systems, not just in Utah but possibly setting an example for other states too. For those of us observing from the outside, it’s a reminder of the critical need to advocate for more stringent protective measures. Here’s hoping “Om’s Law” garners the attention and action it deserves. My heart goes out to anyone in a similar battle—stay strong.
