I’ve been following Sylvia Klayh’s case for a while, and I can’t shake an unusual thought. Has anyone considered the possibility of an accidental encounter with a stranger? Brereton Lake was a popular spot, and there must have been other vacationers around that summer. It’s possible she encountered someone who wasn’t familiar to the family. Could a passerby have offered her a ride somewhere and then things took a dark turn? Or maybe someone she crossed paths with that day had intentions that took a while to unfold? It just seems strange that there are no traces of her at all—no sightings, belongings, or anything. I’m curious if there’s ever been any public talk about interviewing people who were vacationing in the area that weekend. Sometimes a fresh look at those who temporarily occupied the space around you can unveil new possibilities. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
