Hi everyone,
I came across an intriguing aspect of Martin Joseph Kenny's case that hasn't been discussed much. It's about the stop in Eton where he was last known to lose his way. I was curious if anyone knows the typical protocol for freight train stops back in 1959. Could it be common for cars to be separated and left behind like Martin’s was? I'm trying to understand if this oversight could suggest something about the railway crew's practices at the time.
Another thing I'm puzzled about—Martin was last seen near Perry, heading north along the tracks. Wasn't the community small back then? I’d think someone might’ve noticed him. Maybe he talked with someone or asked for directions after that sighting, and it just never got reported. It seems odd with towns being so tight-knit that no more sightings came after that. I wonder if there’s more to uncover about that part of the timeline.
Curious to hear what others think or know about these aspects,
